Justus 2 Door Manufactured Wood Wardrobe

Wardrobe is good, instructions could be better. Supplied only with EU plug, not a British one.

Its a DIY job not for the faint hearted. It said it would take 90 mins to assemble but it took significantly longer! Also there were a few missing parts that had to be re ordered which added to my frustration. Also plug socket was European so I had to buy a converter. Despite the frustration, it is a nice looking piece of furniture once you grind through the manual.

This is a standard particle board with cam bolt fixings construction. The instructions estimated 90 minute assembly time for two people, and it took me about 4 hours on my own. I would however recommend two people for the job as the wardrobe is quite heavy. The assembly order and instructions seemed well thought out, although every step involves a rectangular bit of board so I was constantly referring back to the parts list which usefully detailed the sizes of the pieces. Once constructed the wardrobe was reasonably sturdy and joints aligned well. The wood effect laminate parts look ok. I was worried about the black parts scuffing as I moved the wardrobe about during construction (on carpet and the cardboard it came in) but they seem to have survived. One minor point is that the power for the LEDs has European plug so either an adapter is required or a UK 12V LED driver.

The wardrobe looks great, delivery guys were very helpful. Assembly took definitely longer than 90 mins though.

The quality of the wood effect is great, very study wardrobe with an interesting design. Instructions are fine, not a DIY project for beginners though - lots of pieces and needs some patience! Took 2 of us a good few sessions, with breaks in between for sanity!
