Marco Metal Base Writing Desk

I am pretty delighted with the finished product… but what an absolute ball-ache to put together! It’s fine until you get to the drawer unit, then it’s a bit of a guessing game as the instructions are next to useless. Got there in the end so all’s well that ends well I guess. As an aside, pretty disappointed that this desk is so much cheaper if you buy direct (see Daals website - I looked it up when it arrived and I could see from the box where it came from). Wayfair won’t be winning any price comparison bids let me tell you.

Yup this is the table! Spacious and very sturdy

Does the job well. Desk looks nice enough and its simple style is modern and practical. Good workspace, room for everything - 2 screens, keyboard, notebooks etc. Good amount of leg room and I like the openness of the design. It’s clearly laminated wood and doesn’t pretend not to be. You can put the desk part together relatively quickly, in <30 mins if you have an electric screwdriver. The drawer part is harder, took me over an hour and the instructions have some inaccuracies. Like others I had to make my own holes for the drawer runners as the holes were not accessible twice (NB @Wayfair - the metal runner arrived in 1 piece, not 2). You can find the instructions in the product information before you buy if helpful! I’d recommend an electric screwdriver for the assembly so you can get the screws in tightly and make it all sturdy.

Really good desk. I was able to get to it together by myself, but I can see it being a struggle for some people without having a second person to help. The quality is good, not totally amazing, but it feels sturdy and like it will last for a while. I noticed some people had issues with the runners, as they arrive connected. There's a latch in the runner that, if you press, releases the catch, and you easily screw each runner into the various sections.

It looks solid and good design I like it - EDIT: it is such bad material. Top of the desk started to peel off.
