I was very disappointed that for the price, the top and sides of this sideboard were not high gloss, as the photos of the product clearly show a mirror shine on the side of the unit. Also it took 6 hours to put together by my boyfriend who is extremely capable and said he'd never seen anything so difficult to build. Having said that, once together I was very pleased with the quality. It's very solid.
