Emil Solid Wood Storage Bench

Firstly, I have to agree with other reviewers that this bench is beautiful and it matched my french bedroom furniture really well. However, the one star rating is entirely for what must've been the worst delivery service I've ever received for furniture. The delivery man rang my door bell and when I came out, he had left this big box outside my gate. He was so fast that I didn't even see him drive off! This was 2 days ago during a storm and I had to bring it into the garage by myself using my planter wheels until my husband came home in the evening. We used to order large items from wayfair in the past with brilliant service from ordering to delivery but this experience left me just stunned. An experience like this is enough to keep me away. What a shame.

Ideal as a storage chest in bedroom. Good size and prettily decorated. Very heavy. Recommended.

Good solid bench which should stand the test of time. The lid feels secure when lifted. I love the white wash effect and the mirror pieces in the cut-outs. Very happy with this purchase!
