Love this bookcase. We bought two for our house, one is used in my sons room and the other in the living room.

Great little bookcase that fits perfectly under our stairs. Was a bit hard to assemble but got there in the end - lovely light oak colour that matches the rest of our furniture - feels really sturdy.

The shelves look great but the construction is a little flimsy. If you want to fill the shelves with books (which was my intention) you will need to reinforce the shelves with additional timber to take the weight. Also the dowels supplied are far too small for the predrilled holes, they just fall out. I bought new dowels and had to drill all the holes again. Having said all that, once assembled they look great and for the money, not bad at all. Just be prepared to put a little more work in to make them sturdy.

Fantastic bookcase, looks more expensive than it is. Not too difficult to put together either. Very pleased.

Ordered 2 of these bookcases on Tue, they arrived on Thu. Assembly instructions were pictorial, the first bookcase took 55 mins to put together, the second 40 mins. I was impressed with the efficiency of the ordering + delivery process, and more importantly with the appearance of the finished items. They stand together in my study alongside another, more expensive waxed pine bookcase. I believe they represent excellent value.
