We ended up turning them to the side but I absolutely love these. Easy to put together, not super heavy. We needed high end tables that were black for our taller couch and these were perfect! No damage in shipping, the poles are plastic but doesn’t really look plastic to the eye. I hate building things so an easy build furniture piece is my dream!! Not having to have a man build something for you and it looks good 1000pts in my book
