Ohlson Polyester Upholstered Storage Bench

The storage bench is great when put together. It fits a good few pairs of shoes and the storage under the seat provides a lot of additional space, however, the tool provided made it difficult to put together.

Bit annoying to put together - once is done is great! Fits 6 pairs though, as if you put both of the shelves, the high of the shelves is really small (only with children’s shoes you could fit more). I opted to just put one shelf and have 2 tiers. The top opens and there is a small area there to put umbrellas or dog leash… happy with purchase!

A little tricky to construct - tip sort through the parts carefully, the biggest trick is orientating the pieces as it comes together. I found it easier to reorder some of the steps, just to give the bench greater solidity through the middle stage of building. It came together in just over an hour and is solid. It is comfortable to sit in and a perfect height for putting on shoes and then standing up again. We got two pairs of boots in the outer cubby holes (we will have to keep the free of mud!), there is space for nine pairs in the fold down area, and we have dog leads, poo bags, and probably gloves (when we need them) in the lidded area. All very useful and tidy storage, and it looks as if it cost more than it did.
