PLUMPTON FOOTSTOOL

Love love love, took a while to get it after I’d ordered the chair! But wow looks amazing!

When purchasing this item I was very excited to find an armchair and ottoman for a reasonable price, when I realised it was just the ottoman I tried to initiate a return. I received a return confirmation, but when I read it, they said the the insurance was being refunded but not the ottoman as even though I requested a delivery for the following week, it had been shipped 5days early and as it was already on its way my return was rejected. I had to spend days calling customer services to try and get it refunded. They agreed that if I rejected the delivery they would then initiate a refund the next morning. I spoke with the delivery driver he agreed to not come deliver the item. So a refund was agreed. However it wasn’t until the school run the next morning that I was shocked to see that although the delivery driver had agreed to not deliver the ottoman, he had in fact delivered the item and had left it on the front door step blocking my exit and entry way. As someone who has a physical disability this was awful! I then had to find help with moving the item from the door so that we could enter and exit. Once I spoke to to costumer services again, they were very apologetic and gave me the refund that we had agreed to. Once I had help they opened up the package only to find that it was damaged and would have needed to be returned anyway. This whole experience was very stressful and exhausting, it it weren’t for the lovely personnel at costumer services the whole experience would have been very traumatic!

Lovely footstool - we bought the duck egg blue one and it’s perfect! Goes with our cushions - its perfect height and good quality.
