I've returned this item. The picture shows the shape of the bed accurately. On receiving my complaint about the material, I was advised by email that "It is a plain Naples Velvet, which is a velvet with a short dense pile". This is not represented in the picture, which shows a lovely shiny material.

Colour slightly different than picture on the website.Other than that the bed is ok and it's got lots of storage space.
