Edgecumbe Bed Frame

Love the bed. 5 stars for the bed. But when the delivery date finally arrived, I had to email them to point out that it was very unlikely to arrive on time given that they hadn't even dispatched it yet. So annoying. I don't understand how companies can be so incompetent with computer systems to help them out. Why did I have to tell them it wasn't going to arrive on time. Surely it should be the other way round. Furthermore, there was absolutely no feedback concerning the acquisition, preparation, dispatching pipeline. They could have had the thing ready to go for the whole 3 weeks I was patiently waiting for it for all I know. Shocking.

As shown in the photos when the box was opened we noticed a crush mark across a number of the timber parts as if something heavy had been stored on top of the box which for our first purchase from Wayfair was quite disappointing, we had no choice but to build the bed as we had already dismantled our old one, I hope someone will contact me regarding this matter as it has left a bitter taste

Very very pleased with my purchase, strong bed, easy to assemble, lovely finished product. It came slightly damaged on the top but can be repaired, hence why the 4 stars.

Great bed frame, TERRIBLE customer service. Bed was delivered 11 days earlier than orginally estimated. That would have been welcome except we were only told on the morning of delivery that it was on the way. No way for Wayfair to contact delivery company. As we were away on holiday for the next week, the company just kept trying to deliver it. Highly stressful, laughable that Wayfair are unable to find a way to communicate with their delivery partners. Whilst the bed is great, we won't order from Wayfair again, just not worth the hassle.

When it finally arrives I'll review it. 2months and still waiting.

Looks good but not strong enough for purpose. Slats too thin and the 5ft bed needs a centre support
