It's a heavy solid desk, but uses the same style panel joining as more budgety variants. Manufactured wood reminds more of hard pressed cardboard and if you really intend on moving this table after assembly you are likely to rip the joint out. I somewhat regret not adding another £400 and buying solid wood lesser stylised but solid wood table that would last.

Love the overall look! Some of the construction is not good, which leads to the reason for the image. Very dissapointed with how the draws line up and operate, especially as there is no adjustment. Has put me off buying the matching sideboard for my office now.

The desk looks great, but multiple parts were missing. The guy from Handy who came to assemble the desk said this is a very common problem with Wayfair. I’m now waiting for the missing parts and have a partially assembled desk in my office. Very frustrating
