Unfinished TV Stand

This has come in 2 boxes...I have built the middle section out of one box....but how do the the two end units fix to the middle?

Don’t bother with this if you want a big tv unit. It’s actually three bog standard small units that sit together and don’t even screw together. How can this be safe, one tiny unit taking all that weight on its own. Raised an issue with Wayfair and unless I want to pay to post it back (will cost a fair bit) then I have to settle for a 20% discount to keep it ! I’m going to screw the three units together and use wood glue to strengthen it. This has put me off of buying things on Wayfair, they didn’t put this in the description but if I send back the cost is on me. Second dodgy item bought in a week, think I need to shop elsewhere !

Lights do not stay attached to the unit at all , just keep peeling off on all 3 sections of the unit !!! Pretty disappointed as the lighting effect was the reason that made me choose this unit in the first place
