Where to start. This was a stressful build, not helped by finding a cracked panel of wood… but we were too far into it to stop at that point so we’ve just had to hide that against our wall. The hinges attaching the lid to the box is horrific. Thankfully my husband managed to adjust them slightly but it’s so tricky to line up three hinges (clicky things) so we had to take them off and do it another way. Wood was chipping off everywhere inside. We’ve almost divorced twice and there is no way you can call it easy assembly. We’ve started looking for something else which means this was a waste of money and time but I think I would rather pay extra for something already built or less complicated.
