Geiger Solid Wood Accent Stool

The stools turned up, both packages smelt, I opened one package to find it was damp inside and there was mould growing on the stool and dust, mould spoors were obviously present too which has made my skin itch and go red. I have put both boxes in bin bags as they are making my small apartment smell while I wait for the company to I hope tell me when they will pick them up and give me a full refund (it’s now the second day so I am updating the review and I have heard nothing from the vendor and my whole small apartment now smells of mould as I wait for them to be picked up - my skin is till reacting to the mould spoors). The photos looked amazing unfortunately the product is mouldy, damp, in an awful condition and even made my skin itch when I opened the box. A very disappointed customer, I expected a totally different experience- they are also far from cheap. Please see in particular the third photo where the green mould is growing. It was the last thing I needed today. I assumed a resolution would be reached quickly considering this is effecting my health but so far neither Wayfair nor the vendor have told me when they will resolve this. Hearing in 1/2 business days is simply not enough.

Really nice block of solid wood, used for now in our small entrance hall.
