Very well packaged. Even comes with a pair of gloves to prevent getting finger marks all over the chrome parts. Easy to build, and feels like a great chair so far!

This is a very comfortable chair and a great bargain for the price. Assembly took about an hour and was straightforward using the pictorial guide provided in the box and a bit of intuition for a couple of bits that weren't explicit. The downside of this chair has to do with the tilt feature. It does lock (the Tilt Lock mentioned in the specifications for this item), but only locks in the zero-tilt position. If you want a partial-tilt, you can NOT lock-in a partially tilted position. If you need a chair with multi-angle locking, this is not the chair for you. I'm keeping it anyhow and hoping maybe a bit of an extra core workout to hold the tilt will end up being a hidden gift or at least not much of an annoyance.
