It looks quite nice when it's complete but it's definitely not top quality. The instructions for assembly are very basic and although it's easy to understand how it all goes together, it's very easy to put a shelf on the wrong way around and have the pilot holes mis-aligned (something that's not mentioned at all in the instructions. The shelf is assembled with very long screws only which means there are a lot of screw heads showing down either side of the bookcase (two for each shelf). These are covered by small white stickers provided but as the screws are counter-sink screws and the pilot holes are not counter-sunk, there's a significant protrusion that looks silly with a sticker on. Do not buy this bookcase if you don't have a powered screwdriver. There are 34 very long screws that need to be put in, if you did them all by hand you'd be there for hours and covered in blisters afterwards.

Nice bookcase...just what was needed to display partners collection...slightly tricky to put all shelves together but happy with end result!

Good looking and sturdy unite. Not the easiest to build, the instructions could be clearer.

Picture really over represents the actual item. It was a lot smaller than I anticipated and the quality is exceptionally poor. Even the assembly required extra effort because it hadn't been thought through well. It's ended up in the kids room. Massive disappointment.
