Arrived on time and the instructions for assembly worked well. Lovely upholstery. However I am totally unable to use any of the adjustments, raising the seat, tilting the back. Help I need some casters with brakes as I have fallen twice with the chair running away. Please will you tell me the size of caster (the bit that goes into the chair) so that I can purchase some. This chair is dangerous for me. Please contact me.

Very good chair! Highly adjustable, and very comfortable for using all day. Build quality seems reasonable, only been using for a few days so time will tell how robust it is. For the price is very good. Only slight negatives are the inflatable lumbar support, which is adjustable in position but only if the whole back is moved up and down, and the fabric (I went for black) which does pick up lots of dust and fluff. Was a bit fiddly to assemble, particularly attaching the armrests, but didn't take long. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the purchase.

This is a great chair, easy to put together and very comfortable.

The chair is good but despite the multiple functions I am not that impressed with the overall quality. The armrest is pretty rigid and not in the most comfortable place (sits too far out). The lumbar support is pretty poor - although the pump works, it is not as strong. We have an RH Logic 400 chair and purchased this chair as an additional chair should we both work from home so perhaps we had high expectations. Overall the Vermont chair is good but if you are planning to work from home all the time, it is worth investing in a more high quality professional ergonomic chair such as RH Logic or Steelcase.
