Good table, but a bit soft surface, so when I write - it print out.

After a long search and a short delay for additional information I have my perfect solution table! Very easy to assemble, well finished, attractive and not made in China. Excellent! A suggestion though. Especially for stand alone tables, please could you include the dimensions of the distance between the table legs so it is easy to identify what size chairs you can go for. Some of the options I had in my wish list were too wide to fit under the table.
