Very sturdy bookcase, great for rows of hardbacks without buckling the shelf. Not quite the colour pictured - this is mango wood, unpolished, so it's more of a matte chocolate colour (which is why I knocked a point off the rating).

I really love this bookcase. It has a lovely solid feel - no nasty wobbly back board on this baby just solid wood all the way. Looks great in the front room and has managed to take about a third of my book collection. I'll need to buy some more bookcases when I've saved up the money.

The bookcase is not a polished rich red-brown as shown but it is a very good, solid piece of furniture and a I am very pleased with it.

The craftsmanship is very good, I could not have wished for a piece of furniture to better the quality og the bookcase.
