Built, the bookshelf matches our furniture well and the adjustable shelves allowed us to adjust it to meet our needs. However...putting the back on this was a nightmare, and I'm someone who quite likes a bit of building. So just be careful of this if you are ordering and allocate yourself plenty of time and space for this part.
