As a guy who has assembled alot of furniture over the years, the directions were horrendous. Not to fret though, because the build quality is fantastic. Feels a little flimsy until the back panel goes on and it is incredibly solid after that. Package arrived very protected and the materials were in amazing shape. Love the color! The hinges feel pretty strong, and the whole piece is an amazing deal when it is on sale. The cam and dowel system is the next step forward on furniture build quality, and this has it. My only recommendation would be color matched caps for the two cams on the bottom cubby hole.

It’s a beautiful piece, very sturdy. Took me awhile to put together. A power screwdriver would help.

Perfect for our guest room! These tables were pretty simple to put together (except when we installed the front pull-down door backwards) and looks great!

These are great tables. Definitely mid century modern vibe. Unlike a lot of the other reviewers, I did not find these tables difficult to assemble, although I had my husband helping. The directions are very clear. The tables are very sturdy and the open/closing mechanism for the cabinet door is very well made. We are using ours as bedside tables and they are the perfect height for our bed and very roomy on top for lamps and anything else you keep at your bedside. We love them, and for the price I think they are well made.
