This is one of the most difficult to put together pieces of furniture I've ever had the misfortune of assembling. I had so many issues with it, with bits broken, marks on it, and poor quality materials. I also think one of the units had previously been returned by another customer as the internal contents weren't packaged properly. What's really baffling is that some elements of the unit are very well designed with great quality materials, like the glass top and the caster wheels, but some of the fittings are cheap rubbish, and the MDF 'wood' is such a poor quality that it turns to powder when you screw into it. It was impossible to really tighten any of the very small screws, as the MDF would just turn to dust, and the larger screws were very difficult to get in straight. I'm no spring chicken - been doing this sort of stuff for years, but building this still took me the best part of two whole days! I was fuming by the end. It was an unbelievable amount of time, which was mainly due to many unforeseen issues, like bits not fitting together properly, and one of the drawer rails breaking as I tried to put the drawer in. (I had to dismantle it and fix the rail with pliers and WD40 then reassemble very carefully so it didn’t break again). All in all, an absolute pain in the neck. Now that it's built, it does look good, and the infra-red doors and internal ventilation slots are great, which is the only reason this isn’t a one-star review. But now some of the doors won't open/close properly! So frustrating and very disappointing, especially when the price was over £800! In my opinion, the unit is worth just a fraction of that amount. I don't think I'll be buying from Wayfair again.
