It's always a gamble ordering something expensive with only one picture. When it arrived I found of course that the mango wood is thick and strong and should last a long time. The artwork makes it a stand out piece. Although, I was surprised to see that no primer is used under the paint so any cosmetic differences in the wood WILL show through, including slats of wood that are much much darker than others, which leaves me with a yellow stripe through the lovely carving. The paint looks worn or glue marked in places, and that the center point of the pattern is very misaligned which is a bit of a kick in the face for the price. Also the thickness of each door differs, so there is a lip of brown wood that is always on show once the doors are completely shut, and the thick wood supports inside the door do take away from the depth of storage space possible once the doors are shut. So all in all, stunning design but no finesse to it which sadly lets it down.
