Minerva Solid Wood 51cm W 8 - Drawer Chest of Drawers

I wanted something for Knick knack s and this looked good. Agree with other reviews is rough around the edge s , definitely need a sanding if you want to paint it and had a couple of tacks poking through. But works for what I needed.

All the draw handles came off within a very short period of time. Very fragile. A waist of money

This was smaller than I thought it was as I didnt read the dimensions at the time I bought it but have made use of it.

Minerva 8 Drawer Chest was delivered on time & I was excited to open it but had a slight disappointment of the finish of this item, as it has a glistening effect on it? (which I gathered may be the varnish been sprayed on it once they finished the chest? Is the varnish used on this chest Toxic??). This chest was roughly finished & I'm going to have to sand it down as it's too unfinished to use as it is, also some of the wooden shelf parts were really rough & bad quality wood. & For the price, I didn't think it's worth it. However the chest itself I like, it fits perfectly where I wanted it & I can used once I've re-done the parts needed to be fixed & stripped it back, sand it down & re-varnish it, So hence the low rating!
