Basinger Sideboard

Very disappointed in this unit after building up could not get the doors to hang right we had to get a cabinet maker round he spent 2 hours on trying to get the doors right one is still not right he gave up for the money it cost you thought it would be better quality

Really difficult to build and not very sturdy once built. Doors are impossible to align, spent hours trying to get them all in line but no matter what we do they won’t sit right. Going to have to spend our days looking at a wonky cabinet, which is already driving us insane. Such a pitty as it could have been a beautiful sideboard.

i love this and we get lots of positive comments about it. However it was difficult to assemble and the doors were particularly hard to get right

good looking but poorly engineered. it is so front heavy it barely stands up when empty. Includes a wall attachment but you will have to drill and reposition the base to make it usable.

difficult to put together and it's coming apart after less than 2 years of use...

The build quality is good, the design great so assembling this is very easy. The only drawback is that the weight of this sideboard is unbalanced towards the front so anchoring it to the wall is pretty much compulsory, however I’m adding two feet to the front that seem to keep the structure more balanced.

I don’t think the quality commands the price, also, buying from wayfair was a nightmare, the item was a month late from expected date and we didn’t have all packages delivered at once so have a huge box sat in the way for 2 weeks, also, the item too 6 hours to build, I’m an electrician and would class myself as very competent in most aspects of the building industry, would hate to think How someone would cope if they weren’t, also, the instructions are rubbish, sorry Wayfair, far from happy!!!

Looks nice! unfortunatly it is cheaply made; the two end doors are made in two pieces but would look much nicer if was one door without the gap in it.

Lovely sideboard, I’ve received many compliments.

Beautiful in our living room, fits perfectly not the easiest to assemble as takes a while
