It says the colour is mustard, but I'd say it was a lighter shade of yellow than mustard in real life. However, the colour does match what is shown in the pictures on the listing. The pictures are very true to what it will look like when you receive it. We've used ours to fill a little bay window that we didn't know what to do with. I love the catch details on the front, and the storage is a real bonus. It's definitely better to look at than it is to sit on. The padding is quite thin on the top, so I wouldn't recommend sitting on there for a long time. Definitely sit on a cushion. But for us it's perfect. Nice to look at and the dog and cat enjoy sitting up there and watching the world go by through the windows. As they are lighter than me they don't suffer from the thin padding issue.
