Reba Bookcase

This tall bookcase is very heavy and it requires two people to assemble it, preferably at least one with some carpentry experience. There were so many components, and the assembly instructions were not crystal clear (in fact there was an error in one diagram). If only it had been explained that the top and bottom blocks were subtly different - extra holes pre-drilled into the bottom block to screw in the feet! When we realised we'd got them on the wrong way round the bookcase was almost fully assembled, and it was too late to go back. But this is a smart looking bookcase, and it perfectly fills a gap in my hallway, as you can see from the photo. It's not quite finished yet. To prevent the bookcase toppling over, it must be fastened to the wall behind it. I am waiting for my carpenter friend to come back and fix this for me, he has a device to check that we won't be drilling into a cable. Hence the polystyrene block (if you look closely) which is temporarily holding the bookcase in place!

Simple product and slightly overpriced, shame as it fits in well with Joplin wardrobe set. It feels solid but assembly was a little fiddly. The finish was a bit patchy in a couple of places. Its an OK bookcase, and and good match with Joplin range otherwise I would have gone elsewhere.

Great product! super easy to put together and looks amazing!! was a great addition to our living room!!

Definitely room to improve in the assembly instructions! Missing information on height of the shelves. It would help to create combination with other objects.

Quite difficult to assemble but worth the effort.
