It's a beautiful chair. Just hard. We moved it from a main sitting area to a bedroom because it was too firm for our liking. We use it in the bedroom relaxing with the laptop or a book and don't find it bad for that type of short term use. For us, it wasn't a chair to hang out in chatting with company or watching a movie. The fabric is a chenille and the orange colour is more of a coppery brown but it looks very nice.
