Grey king size headboard was delivered to the wrong address (wrong street) by DHL but the lady at that address kindly brought it to my house. It was well packaged but when I removed the plastic covering it had a stain/mark on it which obviously happened before it was wrapped up…I had waited nearly 3 weeks on this item so didn’t want to return it as I would have had another long wait & might have had the same problems. The item cost £128.99 in Wayfair’s sale & they offered me £19.34 as a reduction for the headboard being marked & they suggested I used warm soapy water on it…I have organic stain removal spray which I used twice on the mark & it’s not as noticeable. I feel £19.34 is a bit low to be offered considering it was delivered to the wrong address & the item had a noticeable mark on it but accepted as if I had refused then I might have got no discount. I do really like the headboard but wasn’t impressed with DHL delivering it to the wrong address & as this item was brand new was unhappy to find it came with a mark on it which was very noticeable. The headboard is good quality, looks and feels very nice. The downside was the accompanying screws were small and couldn’t hold the headboard in place. We had to source screws ourselves, this was disappointing because we couldn’t have the bed ready before our guest arrived and it also arrived a day later than the expected date of arrival. Took a punt on this headboard as was the style I was after, but cheaper than a lot of normal stores. I'm really pleased I did, very happy with purchase. I decided to go for linen off white in king size to match my divan, colour was as expected and size was perfect. Looks more expensive than it is and is also good quality. Only small issue I have had is one of the holes in the back to attach the wooden slats is off so the screw just spins, but luckily there is another one to secure. Happy to recommend. Stephanie. GB.
