I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent purchase I made from your store – a bookcase that unfortunately arrived in poor condition. As a person with a disability, I arranged for a handyman to assemble the item on my behalf, which cost me £200. I was not at home during the assembly, and when I returned, I was shocked to find that the bookcase had several quality issues. The handyman even left me notes pointing them out. The finishing on the cabinet is extremely poor – it has multiple scratches, visible filler covering some holes, and some panels (such as the base) are a noticeably different color than the rest of the unit. These defects are unacceptable for a brand-new product. I had already disposed of my old bookcase to make room for this one, so returning it is not an easy option at this point. My home has been in disarray for the past week due to this situation, and I feel very frustrated. Were it not for my urgent need for a bookcase, I would have returned this item immediately. I kindly request that you look into this matter and offer an appropriate resolution – whether that be a partial refund, or another form of compensation for the poor quality and inconvenience caused.
