The metal frames didn't fit together properly, meaning there wasn't a flush connection with the wood and some of the screws couldn't get enough purchase to secure them. The screws that did get purchase came through the wood! There was also very sharp edges to the metal pieces. Whilst I have no complaint about the product itself, the item description and images are very poor. Based on the description and images, I expected a worn/reclaimed yet "plain" wood effect on the stool seats, however, the over-riding effect is "paint-stripped" and a lot of bright orange, green and blue, as is detailed far more clearly on other products throughout the site.
