Treat your guests, the Buxton bed has a beautifully crafted framework that conceals a trundle bed for extra sleeping space. Sprung slatted bases give natural bounce, adjusting to where most pressure is exerted and providing greater comfort. The maximum mattress height to be used for this frame and trundle is 160 mm. These mattresses (I got 2) are perfect for my new day bed. The one on the trundle is a little bit too big now that it’s been out of the packaging for a couple of days but still works, I just have to squeeze it down a bit to pull it out but I’d rather my guests have a comfier sleep than go for a thinner mattress.. If no star was an option i wouldhave chosen. DO NOT BUY! Very bad insructions to put together but we had already opened it and started building so could not return. Also my husband is quite the handy man so was able to do other with his tools over a couple of days. Not like the usual flat pack furniture where holes etc are already made, and quite flimsey… worried about the weight of mattress. also will only fit a small single mattress. Tellls you somewhere in description but you have to look for it. Unfortunately we didn’t see till after and are in process of exchanging the standard single mattress that we had ordered. An alround mess unfortunately.. Ruby. Thu Feb 29 2024
