Another open-box win. Fairly straightforward to assemble - many reviews comment that it needs two people but I didn’t have any trouble on my own (maybe I just have really long arms). The only tricky part for me when installing the base , I should have left the screws attaching the sides just a little looser so it was easier to slot it in. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Measurements shown for the full sofa wasn’t untill we ordered it said it was for the right seat! (Why sell half a sofa!) couldn’t stop the order so had to wait for it to be delivered to then send it back. That’s where the problem started. Evri left me waiting in all day with a time slot of 8am - 8 pm. No confirmation. Wayfair wasn’t any help. Had a very patronising Person or ai on the “help” chat. Had to try contact evri. Wasn’t untill the 4th complaint for Wayfair and evri that it got collected by evri after Wayfair changed it to dhl and then didn’t cancel dhl coming to collect something that had already gone. The mixed messages I was getting were very confusing “impacted by technical and internal delays and can’t provide definite delivery date “ I spent from 08.30 to 5pm going back and forth, was given the option of cancellation which I tried (regretfully as I really wanted the sofas), was then emailed stating “unable to cancel your order as either it’s been already shipped or are currently being custom made” My account on Wayfair site was showing that the order was dispatched and estimated delivery date was 03/06. I then spoke to Farah who assured me that she would investigate the problem and that she would contact me before 13/06. I then received a text at 8.41pm last night to inform me that the order was to be delivered today!! Fortunately the delivery has arrived and I am delighted with the sofas. The sofa was supposed to be on a next day delivery. We discovered that the sofa came in two boxes. One part of the sofa was delivered on time, the next day. We then struggled to get the second box delivered as it was a two man lift and it became abundently apparent that the delivery company didnt have two people to send, to offload the box. My girlfriend ended up assisting the delivery driver with getting the 2nd larger box off the van, when it eventually arrived late as the poor sod delivering could not get the box off his van on his own. Understandably by the way ...I am not in any way having a dig a the guy. When we come to assemble the sofa, we discovere that the joining brackets on the frame were mounted upside down, making it impossible to assemble. We removed and rotated them and finally the sofa went together, and to be fair went together well. However, the cushions were as hard as hell. We could not get commfortable on it in any way. Instead of sinking into a comfy seat cushion, I found myself sitting ontop of a hard cushion. To summarise, the sofa looked good, went together well once the brackets were corrected, and appaeared good value for money...thats if you want to just want to look at it. We're moving soon, so after much searching, we ordered this as a temporary replacement for our 20-year-old 3-cushion sofa that finally popped a spring from a back cushion. The love seat is stylish in person. The fabric is a nice, smooth, and similar to canvas; it reminds me of denim. Assembly was easy. The size is just right for 2 adults and fits our space perfectly. The seat cushions are firmer than we expected but still comfortable. The arms are at a good height for easily reaching a drink on our side table. Like others have said, the back cushions are wrinkled but are a non-issue for us. There's a Velcro strip on the part of the love seat where the back cushions sit, so you can attach the cushions if you'd like. I also wish the back was a little taller/higher (unfortunately, I didn't measure before ordering) and the back cushions were thicker/fluffier. The height of the back of the love seat only reaches right below my shoulder blades (I'm 5'8"), so taller individuals aren't able to rest their head back. Also, while sitting on the sofa for an extended period of time (about 2 hrs or so), I don't feel much support on my upper back, so I can see how sitting long-term might be uncomfortable for those who need additional support. Thicker back cushions would be preferred. We'll be purchasing a new sofa after we move, so in the short-term, this sofa was at a great price, will serve its purpose, and is what we were looking for at this time.. Karen. Rockville, MD.
