I was super happy with this. My room is kind of an antique french look (not toooo country, but with warm wood accents.) I really, really loved the look of this writing desk. I love mango wood, generally. The desk drawers are a little cheap, and there is a large crack in the top desk where there is a big knot in the wood. I didn't notice it before, but I think it's OK, it kind of makes it look more authentic. Overall, I am thrilled with this purchase. I looked for ages for an antique writing desk that actually fit, and it was a huge hassle. This one fits all my needs. The only downside is that when I open the drawers, I'm always a bit disappointed that the bottom of the drawer is just pressboard and not real wood.
