The piece of furniture in itself is really nice. However, I do advise everyone to check it for flaws before putting together as we didn't (an error of judgement on our part) and only noticed after putting it together it had a tear in the fabric. Also the fitting to attach the gas spring on the lid was at a ninety degree angle. The fitting was fortunately able to be fixed. Maybe better packaging would have helped. I'm still giving it four stars as I like the look of the ottoman and felt if there had been no damage it was would be worth the money.. Mr. Buxton, GB. Fri Aug 06 2021

Really not very happy with this product it is already starting to fall apart. It’s made really cheaply. I really wish I had sent it back when receiving it as I’m not impressed with the craftsmanship or the quality. On top is very minimal. There is no padding around the sides the mechanism for lifting the lid gets cool and squeaks constantly. Such a shame as look lovely in the pictures but I really wish I had sent it back.. Marrieanne. This luxury chesterfield bumper bar storage ottoman is made with quality wood and the lid is made with reflex foam and upholstered in quality plush velvet fabric.

I was expecting the buttons on top to be covered in the same fabric as the rest of the ottoman as per the online photo. Instead shiny glass-like buttons have been used which makes it look a lot less elegant, which is unfortunate as it was not an inexpensive purchase. The fabric is also very thin and does not have the plush look I was hoping for. It is a good size and will provide useful storage for blankets.. Anonymous. London. Wed Dec 27 2023
