The product itself is okay, solid wood although feels quite flimsy. We chose white because we knew we would be painting the furniture regardless but this is a whitewash finish which is not great, unless that's what you're after of course. It is self-assembly which is pretty standard these days but these are a nightmare to build, the instructions are appalling and it takes at least 3 hours to build each unit (x 3) even for someone who is very adept at this.
