Very happy with this set. Before it had two stars but I thought I’d give it a gamble. And that paid off. Yes the seat screws are raised - if you have a tool to make them recessed you can. The instructions were inside but very flat under the handle packaging so look for them. Very easy to put together. Have painted mine black and they look the same as some £450+ sets.. Anonymous. I’m very pleased with my choice. It suits my kitchen and requires well. It doesn’t come assembled,so you need assistance with this and the service is not offered. A piece of advice I would offer is to give the items at least 3 applications of beeswax as they are ‘raw’ wood to touch and will become stained.
