I purchased this little table for my daughter's apartment. We like the table a lot. She could have chosen a bigger one, this is still quite small. But, we measured and she chose this size. The stone top is much nicer than a laminated top. The pedestal is plastic, but you cannot tell. The top is not attached with anything but double sided tape. So you have to be careful not to put all of your weight on it - any round table is about the same. I just wish there was a way of attaching it. Screws might splinter the top, so we decided against that. She has had the table for a few months now and it is just as shiny as when she got it. She is careful only to wipe it with soap and water as to not dull the marble look. It is an okay size for one person. I think a bigger one is necessary for two people to each comfortably. However, two or three can sit around with drinks and snack. It doesn't make a good dining table for more than two small people, at most. But we are happy with the purchase.. Mrs. B. Riverside, CA. I bought the table with the white marble top and it looks great! It was easy to assemble as well. Once we had the legs screwed in, we flipped the table, and then adjusted the feet as necessary to eliminate any wobble. This was super easy. I will say I was surprised to see that the only thing holding the stone top to the frame is 4 adhesive pads. I hope that this holds and that we don't have issues down the line.
