The Mission Bed is made from solid Brazilian pine that has been reliably sourced. This is used to ensure a near-perfect finish on all the face parts. Kiln-dried solid pine slats make for a very sturdy storage bed. The slatted design on the head-end combined with the tongue and grooved foot-end creates a beautiful looking bed. It is finished in either a Waxed, or Satin white color that will complement any decor and the 6 spacious drawers (3 on either side) provide ample storage space. The bed is supplied flat-packed with step-by-step instructions for easy self-assembly.

Appalling quality. Countless splits in the wood. No edges have been sanded so lots of splinters while assembling. Took me (a qualified carpenter) over 4 hours to get together. Also to top it off there were some screw holes missing and some that don't line up. Also pretty much all of the joints don't tighten up nicely. Unfortunately there was a defect with one of the screws in the frame and while we thought it was fine (and didn't want to go through the hassle of ordering a new bed and having to dispose of the one with a defected screw) it did eventually splinter and break last week.
