We love this wardrobe for its simple Chinese style and solid construction, offering very impressive bedroom storage. Its simple design means that it still looks right up to date, while a large brass lock plate gives it that unmistakable Ming style. Although the Chinese did not hang their clothes vertically, this type of square-cornered cabinet was common in the north of the country and would have contained shelves and drawers. We've adapted the original interior to suit today's needs by including a wooden rail and three removable shelves, so it can be used either for hanging clothes or as a cupboard. Made of solid reclaimed elm and with two useful drawers at the bottom. Due to its size and weight, the wardrobe will be made in two sections for easier maneuverability.

Crafted from solid oak wood, this cabinet with two hinged two doors reveals five storage shelves inside. The wood is finished with matching elongated linear pulls which are accentuated on the natural, textured patch. This beautiful Chinese cabinet shows a simple, tapered style that gives it a perfect sense of balance and stability - a design common in Chinese furniture but not normally seen in the West. Wooden peg hinges at the top and bottom of each door fit directly into the cabinet's frame, making metal hinges unnecessary and resulting in a wonderfully pure, clean appearance. The cabinet includes two drawers - each with a lovely butterfly drawer pull - and inside holds three shelves and a removable hanging rail. This makes it ideal for use as either a cabinet or wardrobe.

Our wedding cabinet has a traditional Chinese design hand painted in gold. However you choose to use it - as a drink cabinet, TV cabinet or for general storage, it will be the envy of many visitors.
