Screws fall out as some holes had been drilled too big, chose to replace all screws with larger ones and this solved the problem. Not a perfect fit with some gapping at some joints no matter what was tried (with both original and new screws) clearly cut enmass and no test fit for these hence the price point. These dinner chairs are so comfortable and lovely looking unfortunately when they arrive one of the chairs was damaged but luckily I took out the x cover from wayfair and I am glad I did as I contacted wayfair customer service who sorted out the issue.
