Another open-box win. Fairly straightforward to assemble - many reviews comment that it needs two people but I didn’t have any trouble on my own (maybe I just have really long arms). The only tricky part for me when installing the base , I should have left the screws attaching the sides just a little looser so it was easier to slot it in. This was a real bargain and has transformed our lounge. My dog gives it 5 stars too. It’s comfy yet structured so you’re not swallowed. It looks sumptuous in teal. We love it. Delivery was outside the the delivery company’s estimated arrival but within Wayfair’s day estimate and was swiftly manoeuvred into our lounge. I would highly recommend this couch for great support, great price, great service and great looks. It feels very sturdy and holds you snugly. The mixed messages I was getting were very confusing “impacted by technical and internal delays and can’t provide definite delivery date “ I spent from 08.30 to 5pm going back and forth, was given the option of cancellation which I tried (regretfully as I really wanted the sofas), was then emailed stating “unable to cancel your order as either it’s been already shipped or are currently being custom made” My account on Wayfair site was showing that the order was dispatched and estimated delivery date was 03/06. I then spoke to Farah who assured me that she would investigate the problem and that she would contact me before 13/06. I then received a text at 8.41pm last night to inform me that the order was to be delivered today!! Fortunately the delivery has arrived and I am delighted with the sofas. Terrible. The sofa was delivered and did not have the legally required fire safety labels. This was important as the furniture was for a holiday chalet. Wayfair initially said they would get the compliance documentation but never did. They then offered a return and refund which i accepted but they have charged for the return shipping despite the fact that the furniture is illegal for sale in the uk.. Brian. Sun May 10 2026
