The material is hardwearing and the piping/seams help retain the shape. It could have have a little more seat padding as the springs are noticeable when you sit down, but you get used to it. The look of velvet and linen can vary when exposed to different lighting conditions. It tends to shimmer more in daylight and look more toned down in indoor artificial lighting. The shade of velvet and linen may vary when stroked by hand in different directions and angles. To even out the colour the material should be stroked with an open palm in one direction. Happy with delivery. But was disappointed wasn't assembled for me. Wasn't aware you had to ask for that. Wear has assembled on delivery gone.
