I am so pleased with this bookcase. It is exactly what I wanted, and most importantly, it matches my other pieces of furniture! It is sturdy, very well made, with a lovely finish. Poorly done. Got to step 2 and the drill holes missing. Ordered new parts to complete step 2 and the pieces came with drill holes missing for a future step. Step 3, part 6 the holes werent in the right place so the two pieces wouldn’t fit together. The instructions for this item were excellent. Each piece was clearly labelled. It is also sturdy and robust so I am generally happy with my purchase. The ‘veneer’ used to make it look like wood needs to be carefully looked after though. I tried to peel of one of the stickers which identified which piece it was for construction and it peels the ‘veneer’ off like tissue paper. Is it worth the price, I think it should less. Nice looking book case. Took two of us to build it but the result is a fairly sturdy unit. We have larger books which unfortunately don’t fit so if there was a criticism it would be that there are only three adjustment options to the height of the shelves.
