This range is manufactured in a mix of solid oak, MDF and veneers. Oak solids & veneers are American White oak from the US. Small parts and some back pieces may be pine, while backs are composite. This product is painted in off-white with a light white wash through oak surfaces.

I like the unit very much and well made, however there was a defect. The is a crack in the rear corner of the unit. What makes this more disappointing is that the defect was known during manufacturing as an attempted repair had been made by trying to nail the crack close. The unit is lovely but the instructions about how to put it together wasn’t correct and some of the screws supplied were the wrong size e.g 40mm screws supplied to attach a 40mm deep piece of wood to another piece. We only managed to put it together as we had larger screws and power tools. Some of the wood used in the unit is plywood rather than quality wood.
