The centre of the unit features a shelving area and is designed to store your media and entertainment units with a hole cut out of each back panel, to allow cables to pass through. At either side of the unit, you'll find two generously proportioned cupboards that are ideal for storing DVDs and accessories, each cupboard with an adjustable shelf inside. This unit features chunky legs with visible end grain at the top, and is supplied with both wood and brushed steel handles to suit your styling. The unit is manufactured by skilled craftsman using high-grade oak, with a light lacquered finish to set off the exquisite wood grain.

This is a very solid, sturdy piece, and for a reasonable cost. I absolutely love how it looks in my living room. It is just perfect for holding my tv components ( cable box, dvd player and receiver). This item was thoughtfully packaged with foam and cardboard but also with wooden panels at each end to prevent damage during shipping, they were even labeled as such items! If I had any complaints it would be that two of the parts were both labeled part 3 ( two of the legs) and they were easy to confuse which is problematic because one had screw holes and one had a groove for the door panel. A simple sticker or highlight on the directions might be a good idea in the future. Overall not a big deal but it was the one area where the directions were lacking. Overall I love this piece!. Tara.
