I took a chance on this table because it was very affordable, and with little ones at home I didn’t want to spend too much. There were no reviews at the time, which made me hesitate, but I’m glad I went for it. Assembly was easy and straightforward (it took about 40 minutes with drill, not needed but makes it faster). The table isn’t very heavy, but it actually looks like good quality once put together. The texture is rough and has more of an unfinished pine feel, which makes me think it may get dirty easily, but considering the price, it’s not bad at all. The color is darker than advertised, but it still looks really nice. One thing to note is that it’s narrower than I expected. I measured the length of my dining area but didn’t fully account for the width. That said, it still seats six people comfortably. I’d say it works better as a breakfast nook or casual eating table rather than a formal dining room table. Overall, I’m satisfied with the purchase and feel it was a good value for the price.. Overall I think this is a good buy for the price. I think it works best in grey as far as the pieces coming together and looking good. The other colors as shown in reviews didnt look as natural coming together in the 4 pieces. My husband said it wasnt too hard to put together. I took 1 star off, only because with the table in pieces it feels like you need to be a little gentle on it. But overall I like the look of it. We just moved and needed a table quickly. In time I think this might be moved down to the basement for a game table but it will work just fine for us as a dinner table for now. We went on a whim with this table having no reviews when we purchased. We needed something 70 inches in length but on the more narrow side since our space is tight. I love the finished look of the table. However the bars underneath V out to the legs (for additional support I’m assuming) this blocks the ability of the chairs to be pushed in all the way. This isn’t the end of the world but something we over looked when purchasing. I put it together by myself in under 2 hours.
