For the price I’m very happy. Good finish and looks good in-situ and also smells very nice! 2 person assembly better but easy enough to assemble on your own although beware it is heavy in the box. Reason for 4 stars not 5 is due to the drawers as they are main from very soft wood and don’t feel that solid and because some of the pre-drilled holes didn’t align with pieces exactly. Nice sturdy piece of furniture. Looks good. Only minor hiccups were the decorative panels around the bottom were warped slightly so screwing them in was tricky and the screws broke inside the wood. When it arrived we thought, surely theyve missed out a package it was so cleverly packed. Canny Danes! Building it requires separating out the bits and pieces, including putting screws etc into pots to make it easier to find everything. There are a lot of components but the instructions are quite easy to follow, if some illustrations a little small. Tips - ensure you do not overtighten the long black bolts as the aluminium locking nuts need to be able to dock and fully rotate. Also, ensure only one dowel inserted per drawer edge. This chest has a unique and full of character taking you in the modern home. Tubular iron frames laid with rustic wooden panels, make each item in this series individual in appearance, incorporating practical storage solutions for the home.

The chest of drawers were delivered two days earlier than expected and mentioned to me, which was great! The package itself arrives in two very heavy boxes (caution if you can't lift heavy boxes as they weigh a lot and also caution if you live in a block of flats) so get someone to help you and use a lift if living in a block of flats. It came missing one screw but that didn't stop me building the chest of drawers. I just fitted the very last piece with just two screws and it was fine. The instructions are laid out very clear. However, it is definitely worth having two people do this as there's lots of screwing and light hammering to do! Not kidding my right hand was sore after all of the manual screwing I had to do! Please please don't use a drill or any power tools - this is explained on every page of the instructions of assembly at the bottom of every page - it will invalidate any claims of damage on the product. Two of the pieces of wood were misnumbered so best to check the diagrams and follow the pictures instead of the numbers. When putting on the drawer slides the assembly instructions don't tell you in cm or inches where to put them, so this could catch some people out, it definitely took me a while to figure it out and get it right! The instructions are not very clear here. However, follow the pictures and there are holes in the wood as to where to place the sliders.
