I managed to assemble this bed alone, but of course, it is easier if you have an additional help. The slabs under the mattress could be made from a firm wood. Appalling quality. Countless splits in the wood. No edges have been sanded so lots of splinters while assembling. Took me (a qualified carpenter) over 4 hours to get together. Also to top it off there were some screw holes missing and some that don't line up. Also pretty much all of the joints don't tighten up nicely. Honestly, the worse thing I’ve had to build. None of the screws were separated or labelled, neither was the wood panels so you had to sit and measure the size difference for the screws that looked the same. When building, the small panels that go around the sides of the bed just kept falling off even though they’ve been drilled in. While this bed was great looking. It was pretty much the worst made bed in the world. It was in 100 pieces when certain pieces could’ve been sent flat packed. Pieces of wood were not cut equally, screw holes didn’t line up so getting it together was near impossible and I had to miss out a few screws and drill my own wholes. It needed sanding and it took around 10 hours to build if I’d not got half way through it before I realised just how horrible it was I’d of sent it back.
