Die Stühle sind entgegen meiner Erwartung total robust und von hoher Qualität, vor allem ist alles verschraubt und das mit echten Schrauben aus Metall!, keine bloßen Steckverbindungen. Ein wirklich gut durchdachtes System und eine top Konstruktion! Vielen Dank! Leider dünsten die Polster beharrlich unangenehm aus. Möglicherweise liegt es an einer schwer entflammbaren Substanz, mit der diese getränkt sind???? Nun, jeden Tag Febreeze und geöffnete Fenster. Irgendwann hört die Ausdünstung auf! Another great purchase from Wayfair! I am absolutely delighted with the product. The stools are made of solid wood. I have them underneath the small breakfast bar in my kitchen and as they tuck it neatly underneath it, it does not overpower the kitchen. We managed to put them together with no difficulties. We did not use the alan key provided as we realised that you had to use quite a lot of force to get the self tapping screws in. Some of the reviews say that the wholes where you put the screws do not align and that they had to make the wholes bigger. The wholes do indeed not align, but this is because the screws to be used are self-tapping. If you use an electric alan key instead of the one that comes with the instruction set, you will find that there is no problem and that the stools can be put together easily. It only took us 30 minutes to put both stools together and that is accounting for the fact after several attempts of using the small allan key that came with the box, we realised that if would be a lot less of an effort to use an electric tool. Love the design of this chair! The 25" height, the width of the seat and back are perfect! You will need a phillips screw driver and a hex key screw driver for better control when assembling chairs. Took me about 35 minutes each chair to assemble. Also I recommend purchasing chair leg caps to protect your floors as the wooden legs will sit directly on the floor and will wear down with regular use. I am currently redecorating my family room and kitchen. The black did not work with my design. No problem. repainted the chairs a copper brown. Uses 1 can of spray paint for each chair. I reapholstered the seats in fabric heritage house windsong pattern to match my window valances and receive nothing but compliments! Posted pictures of the before and after. I’m actually very happy with this purchase. They fit beautifully into my decor and are very comfortable. Assembly was not bad, I did need a little help holding the legs straight while they were being tightened and the directions weren’t the most clear, but I was able to figure it out and it wasn’t too bad- about 45 mins for the two. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that one of the chairs legs is a little shorter and it makes the chair rock. I put an extra felt pad on it and it seems fine now.. Juliane. Not as good as I anticipated. One stool was scratched, the backs on the stools have design slats like tulip. Unfortunately someone did sand the sides of the wood panel and there are very rough. I thought these were black because I failed to see the color description as being dark espresso. However, the dark espresso is very close to black so they still worked perfect with my decor. Beautiful chairs. I specifically was looking for a nice dark wood chair that would tie our new grey floor to our old brown marble table b/c we love our table and didn't want to get rid of it. These were perfect! I would caution to have a friend available to help you put them together. Because they are commercially rated and can handle a lot of weight - I found that the places you would need to screw things together were difficult and kind of a pain to get to. But it made me realize these chairs are going to be durable. My husband and I worked together - me holding and him putting in screws and getting them tightened and it made things a lot easier.
